NetBackup Re-design

Modernizing Enterprise Data Management

Replacing the 20+ year-old Java-based UI of NetBackup with simplified, user-friendly experience was a top priority for Veritas. The company faced competition with modern interfaces that were easier to adopt.

I contributed to the redesign of NetBackup from the ground up. The project’s focus centered on improving the user experience of complex and critical features, including Role-based Access Control. I also partnered with designers throughout the company to ensure a consistent experience in and across products.

Building A Design System

To create consistency across Veritas’ suite of products and to streamline workflow for product teams, we created Veritas Design Language.

I contributed to the design system by building a variety of design specs, and reviewing and refining submitted components from other contributors to ensure quality.
